To be honest, when we first ordered this product, I didn't have high expectations. That opinion was based solely on the first robot vacuum we purchased (EUFY) about 7 years ago. It was just the basic vacuum and performed pretty badly. The slightest obstacle would confuse it or cause it to get hung up. We basically stopped using it after the first few this Roborock, it's a whole new ballgame!! It was easy to unpack and setup. Then, I performed the Quick Mapping to allow it to identify each room. I did need to use the "divide" feature to break up some large areas found during the mapping process. After that, I named the rooms, added some furniture and identified the floor types.
